The Volkswagen Sharan has a boxy shape and is smooth and composed. The Sharan is well insulated from wind and road noise, despite vibration through the cabin. The interior of this vehicle is made from strong materials and is laid out in a user-friendly way. The cabin has a spacious feel to it and in general it is a comfortable vehicle with good head and leg room. The rear headrests can obstruct the view slightly while reversing, however, other than this visibility is good. The steering wheel can be adjusted to suit the driver. The boot space is an average size, but this can be expanded by folding down the rear seats; these can be folding individually or all at once, but they do not fold flat. Despite this, the seats can be removed which will raise the capacity from the standard boot capacity of 256 litres, to a massive 2610 litres. As a standard, all Sharan’s come with air conditioning; electric front windows plus ABS; six airbags and central locking with dead locks, alarm and immobiliser.
