Volkswagen Touran
The Volkswagen Touran is a 7 seater people carrier which is more
traditionally styled than others but boxier in shape which means
plenty of room. The Touran is safe to drive and has remote steering
which is light enough but the car does not have the agility of some
but still feels composed. The interior of the Touran is simply laid
out and controls are easy to navigate. Road and wind noise is kept
in line, the cabin is well isolated so your driving experience is
relaxing. The front and second row of seats are roomy with plenty
of head and leg room, the rear 2 seats are tight on space so are
better suited to children. The 
driver's seat is also
comfortable, with a high position that allows a great view of the
road ahead although chunky pillars restrict side visibility plus it
can be hard to see out the back with the rear 2 passengers seated.
Generally though, the driving position is comfortable and highly
adjustable so it is easy enough to get comfortable. The Touran's
seats are all about practicality and flexibility. If you want to
make extra space they do not need to be removed, they all fold flat
into the floor and with the seats flat there is a decent load area
of 697 litres which is low to the ground and easy to load. With all
7 seats in place space is not exceptional but still not bad with
121 litres. Chrome roof rails come as standard with the Touran so
as well as looking good these allow the capacity to carry more
luggage. The Volkswagen Touran comes as standard with air
conditioning, front electric windows and cruise control. Safety
features include ESP, ABS, traction control, side impact
protections, dual front and side air bags and seatbelt reminders.
Security includes remote central locking and deadlocks.
