Kia Sorento Review
The Kia Sorento is a good all-around vehicle. With nicely
weighted steering and excellent brakes the Sorento is a pleasant
vehicle to drive. The comfortable seats and soft suspension give a
soft ride with no bouncing over bumps and uneven surfaces. A high
driving position gives a commanding feel on the road and great
visibility. Road and wind noise in the cabin is well contained and
engine noise is minimal even at motor way speeds. Inside, good leg
room for all 3 rows of seats is certainly a big plus as is a large
boot space. With the very rear row of seats down, there is 531
litres of space, fold all the rear seats down (which is really
simple to do) and you have a massive 1525 litres of space and as if
that isn't enough the Kia Sorento can tow up to 2500kg. The centre
console in the Sorento contains a storage box which can keep all
your odds and ends in such as keys, change and hand held games
consoles along with other small storage areas which include under
floor storage, a cup holder in the armrest and even a sunglasses
case. The Kia Sorento really is a family friendly 4x4. Double
reclining front seats is a nice touch. The dashboard somewhat lets
the Sorento down. It isn't the simplest of layouts and some
controls are placed oddly. The materials look a little cheap and
flimsy door plastics certainly don't impress.
