The Shogun was the first SUV sold in the UK that brought 4x4 driving experience at an affordable price. Previously, if you needed 4x4 traction the only vehicles available were the Land Rover Defender or Land Rover Range Rover.
The Mitsubishi Shogun is a bulky vehicle but never the less,
easy to drive. This is a 5 seater vehicle but you could fit 7 in if
you wanted to. There is plenty of leg and head room although this
will be limited in the third row of seats. When all the rear seats
are folded away there is plenty of boot space and there are plenty
of cubby holes throughout the vehicle. The seats are comfy and
there is good visibility for the driver. What lets the Shogun down
is the noise of the engine, but this also lets a lot of vehicles
down. The Mitsubishi Shogun has twin front air bags, ABS and
electronic brake force distribution.
