Volkswagen Golf Review
The Volkswagen Golf is a safe and comfortable vehicle. The interior of the Golf is rather upmarket with the finish and materials which are usually found in premium executive cars. The cabin is wonderfully comfortable and feels good. The driver has a superb position with plenty of adjustment allowed in both the seat and steering wheel. All round visibility is good and the steering is precise and well weighted helping make driving easier. The controls are easily reached by the driver and neatly laid out. The interior of the Golf has an overall well built feel. The cabin is well insulated from noise, although at speed wind noise can get a problem from the top of the doors but generally the golf is quiet and refined. The suspension is great at absorbing bumps and potholes and with comfortable and supportive seats the ride is made relaxing. The boot of the Golf is very generous with 350 litres of space and the wide opening makes loading easier. With the rear seats folded down the already large boot space expands to a massive 1305 litres. The Golf also has cavernous door pockets, sculpted bottle holders, a good sized glove box and a large central cubby. The Volkswagen Golf comes as standard with ESP stability control, seatbelt pre tensioners, 7 air bags including knee air bags, brake assist, side impact protection, ABS and a strong chassis.
