Mercedes GL Class Review
The Mercedes GL Class has agility and pace. All models have a 7
speed automatic gearbox as standard and can gain a fair speed
considering the huge size of the car at over 5 metres long. The GL
Class is designed for serious off roading and tough terrain and has
features such as permanent 4 wheel drive, ABS, downhill speed
regulator and adjustable suspension as standard. All GL Class
vehicles are 7 seaters and comfortable and roomy. The cabin is well
insulated and engine and wind noise is minimal. With all 7 seats up
load space is limited at 300 litres although all 5 rear seats fold
down and once they are the load space is a massive 2300 litres.
There are also cubby holes throughout the GL and a large glove box.
The interior features a poplar wood trim with extras such as
electric front seats, climate control, automatic headlamps and
wipers, electric windows and heated mirrors and parking sensors as
standard. The driver has a commanding view of the road ahead
although rear views are limited. Driver, passenger, side and window
air bags are standard.
