Ford Connect Review
The Ford Transit Connect was launched in 2002 when it took the
small van market by storm. The Connect is capable and cheap to run.
The Ford Transit Connect is available in low roof and high roof,
each offering different loadspaces. The low roof offers a payload
of 625 or 825kg and a load volume of 2.8 cubic meters. The high
roof offers a payload of 825 or 900kg and a load volume of 3.67
cubic meters. The van floor has 6 load lashing points but they can
be moved to any of 10 different holes around the van sides. The
roof is fitted with 6 hooks to provide an extra load option. Inside
the Connect is comfortable. The
driver's seat has a 6 way adjustment
and the position maximises the view of the road ahead. The vehicle
has just one side loading door as standard and also a rear bumper
step for ease of access. Vehicles come with remote central locking
and driver's airbag as standard.
