Peugeot 1007 Review
The Peugeot 1007 is an unusual vehicle with front electric
sliding doors and an attractive interior with interchangable colour
schemes. The 1007 has just 4 seats with the rear 2 seats better
suited for children due to the lack of space, especially when the
front seats are slid further back. The rear seats do slide
backwards to make more knee room but also slide forwards to
increase boot space for any larger objects. Space in the front is
adequate. The 1007 is quite a heavy car and this can really be felt
when going round corners or bends and the vehicle really struggles
to get up to speed in any time soon, making overtaking a virtually
impossible task. The big side windows of the vehicle allow good
visibility, but when it comes to the point of over shoulder
visibility, the thick and deep rear pillars obstruct this. The boot
space isn't bad with 326 litres, the low floor means it's pretty
deep and there are plenty of other storage areas about and a shelf
in the passenger footwell, although this can get annoying as it
obstructs space. The doors of the Peugeot 1007 can open remotely,
so if you have your hands full this is quite a nice feature. The
1007 comes as standard with air conditioning, electric windows and
mirrors, a trip computer, automatic headlights and even
a rear blind. Safety features include 7 airbags,
electronic stability control and sensors in the doors which detects
an obstruction and stop the closing motion to avoid injuries.
