• Must be removed when driving on normal/gritted roads
• Maximum driving speed whilst wearing the sock is 30mph

Fitting:

• Introduce the tyre into the chain (as if it were a cover) as far as possible
• Move the vehicle slightly forwards or backwards
• Adjust the Snow Sock to fit the rest of the tyre

Can you use Snow Socks on roads that are not covered with snow or ice?

It is recommended that Snow Socks are removed when driving on normal or gritted roads. Failure to do so may result in the Snow Socks tearing.

How do I find my tyre size?

Your tyre size is displayed on the tyre wall in the format 'width/profile, structure type, rim' so for example 185/60 R 15.

How many Snow Socks do I need to use on a rear wheel drive vehicle?

Snow Socks are sold as a pair and intended for use on the 'driving' wheels. So for a front wheel drive vehicle Snow Socks would be fitted to the front wheels but a rear wheel drive or 4x4 is it recommended that Snow Socks are fitted to all four wheels.
